i just got my second dose of the vaccine yesterday. i recommend getting one if you can! you can also call pharmacies and drug stores if they have extra doses, as some of them get thrown away. the side effects aren't horrible, my first dose made my arm sore for a day and that was it, the second dose is causing some soreness, a headache, and I'm very drowsy, but it's not the worst. let's reach herd immunity!

Based on my country’s vaccine plan I should get mine in around September because I’ll be old enough then and I honestly can’t wait. I’m in the last age group though which is pretty big but I don’t mind waiting, there’s a lot of people who need it more than I do.

no, cuz I’m 11 :/ I used to be really scared of it but honestly it’s better than never being able to see friends normally or never being able to go out without masks or possibly dying. idk when people my age will be able to get them, but my parents and my two oldest sisters got their first doses. my other sister isn’t old enough yet. I’m still a little bit scared of the side effects tho but not that much.

No, I'm too young. I would love to though. Maybe I wouldn't freak out as much when I have to go outside

Even if i were old enough to get it, i probably wouldn’t. people think that the vaccine makes you immune to the virus but it doesn’t. i just don’t see the point of risking these crazy side effects when i could still get it anyway.

@nev_m_07 I don’t want to risk the side effects either. Hopefully it never becomes a mandate

I got my second dose last weekend! So grateful for it! My county opened it up for younger people because there wasn’t a lot of people getting vaccinated around me.

I am getting my second Pfizer dose tomorrow! 🥳 I think the vaccine symptoms are not as bad at all as the actual covid, which can give you organ damage and you can then get that multi inflammatory disease. I know of one girl who died from it and two people struggling with it right now. And if your covid gets bad enough to have to go to the hospital then you are there all alone and it would be miserable even if you don't have to go to the hospital. And not to mention you could spread it to your loved ones or a stranger who has not gotten the vaccine. So all round it is just better to get it. There's a lot of good data about vaccine efficacy on the internet from trustworthy sources too. My cousin has a autoimmune disease so she can't get any vaccines and she has covid right now. If more people got vaccinated she might not have gotten covid. Plus if the vaccines were harmful then we would not give them to our front line hospital workers and doctors. I hope you can do some research and learn that 2 needles and minor symptoms for 4 days is not as bad as these things that could happen.

@nev_m_07 the side affects are normal because your body is having a immune response. They don’t even last for a day (for most people, everyone is different)

@novaphina i totally agree that the risk of getting covid is higher than getting the vaccine!
