this is off topic and random. But do y’all have any suggestions on healthy snacks or meals? I’m trying to take better care of myself and maybe lose some weight. I’ve always been overweight and it runs in my genes. Anyways, i just want to take better care of my body and eat better food. I also think that would be better for my mental health and my body. I want to lose a few pounds and i already have. But the biggest point here is to just eat healthier and better. In my country, you eat candy only on saturdays. I always used to eat a whole pringles and candy. I cut that out and now i eat this type of chips on fridays that only contains 200 calories for a whole bag. On saturdays i make homemade, healthy, hummus and dip cucumber and carrots in it. That’s around 600 calories and not unnecessary, fake ingredients. Ok anyways. My point. I’ve also done some adjustments in my everyday diet. But i’ve only cut out how much i eat and try not to eat so unhealthy. I’ve lost some pounds by doing that but i need some suggestions on HEALTHY snacks or meals i can eat. So do y’all have any suggestions?

I like corn chips and apple chips. Smoothies made of Greek yogurt and fruit are good.

Bananas and peanut butter is really good. Depending on how hungry you are, you might also want to put them on toast. I used to use white bread, but now I put them on whole wheat bread because it’s healthier and the peanut butter overpowers the taste of it.

I’m not super sure if this is a healthy snack, I think it is, but bananas and peanut butter is good! I used to make smoothies and smoothie bowls every day for breakfast so maybe you could do that some days, and I’ve never tried this but my family puts protein powder in their smoothies.

Nuts prefer cashews the most and simply organic tortilla chips which are practically just made out nothing but they are stupid delicious

Smoothies are amazing! I out a little lettuce in mine with protein powder and then some good flavor like blueberries. Granola bars are also good.

Trail mix, but no sugary things like chocolate chips or m n ms. I personally like dried cranberries, cashews, almonds, and dried blueberries. Another snack I like is dried fruit with NO sugar added! My favorite is dried pineapple. I also eat vegetables and hummus. Smoothies are always amazing, especially if you add spinach and kale for extra nutritional value, they add no taste just nutrients! This isn’t super healthy, but it’s better, FRESH salsa and -organic-corn tortilla chips is a great salty thing. For breakfast, if you make and freeze açaí bowls (with granola) those are a great option.
