this is my first year of highschool so with covid it hasn't been the 'normal' experience but here are some tips!- talk to people! friends are important! on the first day, try to talk to at least one person in each of your classes, this is so you'll hopefully have a friend in each class - start learning how to study ahead of time. before high school I never studied before. i wish I knew how! watch some videos and look up some tips for studying - get involved, join clubs, sports, electives, etc. this will help you make more friends and have fun! - if you're joining a special program or school, make sure you talk to some one who's attended first. I'm in a special math and science program at my school, and there are things that I wish I knew before joining |
