You have to be on the website. Then if you hover your mouse above the profile button a couple option come up. One is create patterns. Then from there one it’s self explanatory

The alpha pattern generator consists of different pages. I recommend to use "daw alpha" to draw your pattern. It is pretty straight forward. Put the colour you want to use in "using colour" and click on all knots you want to change to that colour. Do that with all the colours you want. When you are finished click "save" and go to the "alpha" page of the generator. I recommend to regularly click "save" to save your process. You can also use "alpha from image". There you select a photo and the generator transforms it into a pattern. When using "alpha from image" you first need to tweak the pattern in "draw alpha" before it is acceptable. We have tutorials on how you can do this: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/74_how-to-tweak-patterns/ https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/120_making-better-outlines-for-alpha-patterns/ "alpha from font" works pretty much the same as "alpha from image". You just need to use a font file instead of a picture. You also will need to tweak a pattern that is generated using "alpha from font". "write alpha" is to make simple word patterns from one of the three preset fonts. We no longer accept simple word patterns but you can use them for personal use. To submit a pattern you need to go to "alpha". In order for a pattern to be accepted you have to add at least five keywords that describe the pattern. Think about what keywords you would search for if you wanted to search for a pattern like this. That's pretty much it. In the future I recommend to post questions like these in "newbies" or "generator" because "community" is more about non bracelet related topics. |
