These are definitely positive!! There are no Bible verses that SUPPORT the lgbtq+ community though. However Christians are called by God to show his love towards everyone. Love the sinner not the sin as it were.

@Bria2263 actually being lgbtq+ was never a sin in the bible 😊 there's one verse that's "against" it, "man shall not lay with man". this was actually originally "man will not lay with boy", saying that grown adults shouldn't be with children, but over centuries of translating and people being mean, the word for boy got changed to man

Stormi thank you! And being Lgbtq is not "a sin" its something you are born with. Thats like saying i hate your face but I love you, only worse, and why would god make people Lgbtq+ if he hated it?

All these verses are amazing! Also, the place where it says “Man shall not lie with man” is in the Old Testament... Christians don’t even follow the rules in the Old Testament (a) because they were intended for the Jews, not Christians, and (b) they are hundreds of them, and most of them don’t make sense like, “you are unclean a week after your period” or “your house has sin in it if it has mold 😂.” Instead, Christians follow the “10 Commandments” which are more like, “Do not kill” or “Do not steal” lolJesus Christ never actually mentioned the word “homosexual” or being gay in any of his teachings anyway. @anakel @stormii @Roseart @Heidiv @Bria2263 @izzy_biily just thought I’d tell y’all lol... in case you ever feel down 😉 |
