Loops and thread is similar to dmc, they just don't have as many colors. I have also used some thread from J. P. Coats and it was great, although I don't know where you can buy it because I got it as a gift.

Artiste (I think that’s how it’s spelled) you can get it from Hobby Lobby and it’s worked really well in my experience

J&P Coats and Loops and Threads I think you can find them in Walmart and their like $4 for a pack of 12 bundles or something like that🙂 (Hope this helped)

I use mainly DMC thread, but I also really like Lion Brand Summer Nights Yarn. You can find it on Amazon. 😊
