Why are the moderators approving patterns that hve pro-life or pro-choice on them. I thought this website was supposed not have politics or political things on it. Like is putting the words pro-life, pro-choice, my body my choice, on a alpha pattern not political? Don't get me wrong the patterns are cute but why you have do share your political views on a website about friendship bracelets? I think we should keep this site positive. There's a time and place for everything.

So far they have mostly only banned ones representing candidates.Several people are advocating for those to be banned too. |

hey! our rule on political content is that we do not accept any content (patterns, photos, comments, forums, etc) specifically representing or supporting a political party or candidate. pro-life and pro-choice patterns, although controversial, do not violate these guidelines, and neither do black lives matter nor pro-police patterns. as long as a controversial pattern supporting any of those positions otherwise meet the guideline (for example, colors are easily distinguishable, not a simple text pattern etc), it should be accepted. however, we will closely monitor the comments section and delete any that directly insult the pattern and its creator. please feel free to check out admin’s blog posts from awhile ago on censorship and on political patterns for more information. you can also tag me here or message me or any of the other moderators if you have questions about our rule on political content. 🙂

The only thing I find offensive about those patterns are they put a religion in the keywords I think that the relingion thing should be banned cause you can’t say that pro life is christian

@blahblah11 I agree because neither is specific to any belief or religion. I’m Christian and I’m pro-choice (but I respect everyone’s opinion) and someone from a different religion might be pro-life

@blahblah11 I agree it shouldn’t be politicized, most people make it that way. Which is why it’s really annoying. Like I’m pro-choice and am tired of having to rate pro-life patterns 5 stars to make up for others purposely rating them low
