Keep all distractions garter away. The only thing I try to have near me is a bracelet I have memorized so I can work and listen.

This is more of a general study tip but when I sit down to study it’s easier if I tell myself “I’m gonna read for 10/15 minutes” than it is to say “I’m gonna sit here and read for an hour” because then I’m more likely to get into a groove and read for longer than 10/15 minutes, I’ll feel more accomplished. If I set out to read for a long time then I’m more likely to get tired/bored/distracted,I’ve also had luck switching up where I study, I currently have pillows and blankets in a bathtub |

use timers! when working, only work for 10-20 minutes and then take a break for up to 5 minutes. this helps keep you focused. also, take notes! i realized how important taking notes is during online school haha |

If you do online school on your bed I recommend doing school somewhere else it will help a lot. I used to do school on my bed and then I switched to a table and it helped me a lot.

for me, i like to sit with someone while i do my school work. i have trouble with motivation and wanting to do schoolwork so i end up with a mountain of missing work. so for me, i sit out in my living room where my mom and my sisters are and sometimes i’ll go and sit by my mom and it’s almost like she holds me accountable. i also recommend having someone take your phone or have your parents put screen time limits on it because then you can’t be distracted. i know that sounds terrible, but i promise it helps. also, i have adhd, so i constantly need to fidget, so investing in some fidget toys might be a good idea. i also like to color or work on a bracelet pattern i have memorized while i watch long videos because my chemistry teacher likes to assign hour long lecture videos. hope this helps! if you need to chat with me, feel free to message me anytime!
