When you have to go to school or go to your friends house or a restaurant and you need to eat, how do you take out your bands and put them back in? I know how to take them out and put them in, but I don’t want to do it in front of everyone so do you just need to do it in the bathroom? Lol I know this is rly stupid but I don’t want to put them in in front of everyone

You could put them back in when you get back to the car, or you could sneak off to the bathroom to do it. But honestly no one ever really cared when I took them out/put them back in.

Around family/and my best friend I don't worry about them seeing. At school, I wait for a distraction so the class won't be looking at me😂

To take them off i learned to "unclip" them with my tongue so i would only have to use my hands to get them out, and i don't suggest putting them back on if you haven't washed your teeth, so after a lunch/dinner it's better if you wait until you're back home

I had braces for 4 years and if I knew that I was going to a restaurant or I was gonna eat at my friends house, I would take my bands off at home. If it was at school I would usually go into the bathroom before lunch and take them off or just try my best to hide it.

I would put them on in the mornings before school and then I would use them while eating cause im too shy to take them out 00f. But if im in a restaurant or public place i just cover my mouth with a napkin and quikly take them out.

My friend has Invisalign, and at school when she has to take them off to eat, she usually just covers her mouth with her hand or a napkin to cover it. Sometimes she would go to the bathroom to take them out or put them in, but it was easier to do it at the lunch table. Honestly though, no one cares if you just take them out in public, most people are just too shy to though.

I usually would just excuse myself, stand up, turn around, and take them out and then wait until it was convenient and polite to put them back in. Hope this helps!

I used to HATE taking out my elastics in front of people! I learned how to unhook the top with my tongue so it's just around the bottom two brackets and nobody noticed 😂 Then I would go to the bathroom and take them out and put new ones in when I was done

Just don't wear them to restaurants and stuff. At school just take them off in front of people there are tons of others who have the same thing.

Every time I ate I just put them in a napkin and threw them out. After eating I put new ones in.

(if bathroom isn't; an option) I put them in a napkin and threw it away or wrapped them in the napkin put it in my seat. Unless you just put new ones in, I wouldn't use the ones that you had before you ate.
