Don't hassle them. They may not feel comfortable talking to people they don't know, they aren't allowed to dm or just don't want to talk to you, and they aren't obligated to. If you are asking a question, see if there is anyone else you can ask.

Read their bio, if it says they can’t pm or they don’t feel comfortable with it, than don’t do it. They may also just not be on the site or app, so they haven’t seen it yet
