Common mistakes in bracelets

Hi everyone, what are those mistakes that you know you make but for some reason you never get right? For me it's choosing colors that are too similar, especially in alphas, i never get the shades right because my colors seem different enough but then the difference isn't that much in the actual bracelet

Choosing colors that look different enough but end up almost indistinguishable in the actual bracelet, like someone else said. Cutting base strings too long in alphas. Starting bracelets, forgetting about them and never finishing them. Cutting strings too long/too short in normals. |

Ok so I have a problem with cutting enough string mostly because I feel like if I cut tons of string (like when watching Masha Knots she says to cut a meter of string but that is just too much for me) I feel like I am wasting string and it isn't super easy for me to get more. So yeah my strings are too short and the tightness of my knots throughout my alphas isn't consistent so they end up looking funny.

Miscount the base strings in alphas so I'm always one too short. (Ex: bracelet requires 24, I use 23)Accidently not paying attention when knotting so I mess up the pattern by one know and it looks wonky |

Omg, I can relate to all of the ones that are said in the here 😂I would like to add: -freaking out when there's only a few inches of string left to continue 😂 -found out that I have 1 less base string that I was supposed to have and have to redo my previous work 😂 -used another color accidentally instead when I'm making alphas 😂 -(I know this have nothing to with Making bracelets but...) ...a mess in my boxes of yarns and treads!!! So usually, I had a hard time finding the right colors 😂 -tape not sticky enough, so halfway making a bracelet, it randomly go lose and... well, you know 😂 -way too much more things that will take years to write them all down 😂 |

I cut my base strings for normal patterns to short! I do NOT understand triangle ends and mess up the order of the string for it! Sometimes don't understand how to read normal patterns and MESS UP
