go for it!! i think if u think that there’s a connection, then u should go for it! the worst that could happen is he doesn’t feel that way (yet) and u can just talk to him more or something

I can speak from experience that if you’re feeling mentally/emotionally unstable, then you’re going to be better off long term by taking care of yourself first. Maybe see if this is a guy you can be friends with before you think about dating him. I’ve had crushes before that I haven’t acted on, and once I got to know them better I saw that I had an idealized version of them in my head that didn’t match reality. But some of them I’m still friends with! So it’s not the end of the world if you guys don’t end up in a relationship or anything like that.
