So almost every time I work in bracelets (at my desk) my neck, back and shoulders get very sore🙁 is this just me? And if this happens/happened to you please let me know how to stop it, cuz I love making bracelets but I don’t want to hurt my back!

I tape my bracelets to my leg(at my knee) which I get is not normal. However, I have scoliosis( curvature of the spine) and I can’t remember the last time my back hurt from making bracelets

I try to keep posture while making the bracelets usually I work with a bracelet kinda elevated so I’m even with it instead of looking down at it

@kyleuwu that seems like a good idea! But where do you do it so you are the same hight as it?

I don’t like making bracelets on my desk either, so I usually just use a clipboard and rest it on my knees

I use a mini easel that I never used for painting. I just set it on my desk and knot away

What I do is I get my little lap desk ( u can find some on Amazon I think but my Nina got it for me as a gift so idk where she got it) and I get my back pillow (from Marshall’s or tj maxx) and the I just put the lap desk there and sit with my back pillow so I’m not hunched over and it works rlly well. Mine also has a spot for a phone or iPad to fit so I keep the pattern there 🙂

You all got at what I was trying to get at, I suck at giving explanations sometimes. So I put my feet on the chair/ crouch so my knee is almost up to my chest.
Your pain is probably due to hunching over, I got it all the time when weaving

Take breaks every like 5-10 minutes, it happens to me sometimes when I’m knotting but not always.

i thought i was the only one! i use a clipboard on my lap but i need to take frequent breaks. i used to clip it onto my jeans or whatever which was considerably worse posture-wise!

Yes my back always hurts🙁 try adjusting your chair but if your chair doesn’t adjust, adjust your posture so you are sitting straight. Or I just lay in bed with my knees up and my pillow up and knot from a clip board or pin it to your knee

if your chair is to high you are leaning over more which would make your back hurt
