Oh, boy i get youI'm also one of those person who listens to songs because of their lyrics and i don't have any close friends that do the same, so when i asked them about a lyrics they sometims don't even know the name of the song or the singer 😢 there are so many lines, the ones i can think of right now are 'Home is where the heart is, but what if my heart is wild and free' from Passenger, many songs from sleeping at last please let me know of other ones and a german one would be 'leben reicht' from the song Zuhause from fynn kliemann, englisch translation would be 'living is enought' i will come back here when i can remember other ones 😇 |

Mine are "you're not alone" in leave it all behind (where kellin screams it), "and i was born to be, anything, i wanted to be raised to be, f***ing mean, im a masterpiece" from anxiety by palaye royale, and "I'll take all the blame" in heart of fire by bvb, because in the music video it cuts to andy flipping us off for a split second

Btw the song is called Recess by Melanie Martinez, and it’s from the album k-12, which also has some songs with a deep meaning. I’m a sucker for this kind of stuff, ik no one asked , but imma explain each song from the album cuz why not?Wheels on the bus - it’s abt older generations watching younger generations falling apart, complaining, but just watch it all and do nothing to help us. Class fight- this one isn’t deep, it’s just abt a girl who likes a boy, that another POPULAR girl likes, so they get on a “class fight” The principal- this one is pointing out the evil things that (not specifically) Trump does (this one is one of my favs) Show and tell- it’s abt how ppl mistreat Melanie Martinez as a celebrity, always asking for more, taking pictures and stalking her etc. Nurses office- abt ppl who get bullied so they fake illnesses to go to the nurses office to run away from rude people. Drama club- abt how ppl try to manipulate u, making u say stuff, and that’s it Strawberry Shortcake- abt how girls are mistreated, this one is a bit more explicit, so imma skip Lunchbox friends- abt fake friends who are “popular” but u need to be yourself, people are judgy, so why be THEIR friends? Orange juice- abt eating disorder and trying to starve yourself to “fit in” also one of my fav songs. Detention- idk this one, sry Teachers pet- tbh this is my least favorite, it’s abt a teacher who is INTO a student, and that’s why she has good grades, like I said, not my fav High school sweethearts- if you can’t handle me, then don’t waste ur time, there are others out there for u! Don’t waste ur time or theirs, you’ll end up as a HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART, aka, ur relationship wont last long. Recess- like a already said! |

I forgot to say my favourite lyrics!They are from “The Sound of Silence” by Simon & Garfunkel « And the people bowed and prayed To the Neon God they made » They truly give me goosebumps! I love that song, I recorded an instrumental cover of it, but I won't share my YouTube name because it is bad lol. I also made an oc (original character) after that line I LOVE THE SOUND OF SILENCE |
