how to deal with people pressuring you to make bracelets for them?

someone keeps asking me to make them bracelets all the time. i don’t really mind it too much, but i’m getting busy, and it’s starting to inconvenience me. anyone have any tips for how to deal with this situation?

Tell them that you're running low on string, but if they bought string in the colors they wanted you to make their bracelet in, then you'll make it. Best case scenario they don't want to spend money on the string and will stop asking, worst case scenario is they take a couple days to get the string to you and then you have a bunch of extra string.OR you could just tell them right out of the gate that you're really busy and don't have time to make it. Refer them to a beginner's bracelet tutorial on youtube. Even if the bracelets don't take that much time, it's still not your obligation to make them, especially when they aren't giving you anything in return for them. |

Well, just make them one, then say that you are really busy so you won’t have time to make more until later, then in a jokey but serious voice say “so don’t ask for me to make more yet”

Should learn to say no. It’s a request and your needs should come above their wants. It’s hard for everybody to say but you should just be honest about your busy schedules and tell them that you’ll get to it after this busy period.

Tell them there is currently a lot on your plate but you will make it as soon as you have enough extra time to make it or you could recommend some youtube videos and bracelet book to them and tell them that they can learn how to make their own....or you could charge them money so they have to consider if they really want a bracelet
