Do people get notifications when someone declines there friend request? Some people are friending me and I feel awful for declining them for personal reasons (I also said not to friend me in my bio but maybe they didn't notice).

I don't believe they do, but I am not completely sure. If you want I can friend you and you can decline and I will tell you if it does!

I’m not sure, but I think that they would because you get a notification when someone accepts your friend request. I don’t accept most friend requests (for a variety of reasons), so I just leave my friend requests there without declining or accepting them, that way I know that they won’t get a notification.

Nope you don’t receive any notifications, only notifications for people who accepted. 🙂

@indaco I can try it with you. If you want, I can send you the friend request and you decline it and I’ll tell you if I get a notification. Can I also try to accept your friend request and then I remove you from my friends list and we’ll see if you get a notification for that.

@indaco Lol, I didn’t get a notification though. I guess now you can try friending me, then I’ll remove it and we’ll see if you get a notification
