@Reva_ thx so much!!! Sometimes I really forget to be myself and I try to act like all the other people around me (which usually ends up in me being embarrassed). So during all of the first day I'll try and focus on what you said. Again, tysm! ❤️

Make friends! Friendships are important to get you through high school. Be confident and don't let people get you down. ❤️

I have never been home schooled, but tbh there's nothing to be afraid of! It's really fun to meet new people and make friends. It does get stressful sometimes with work, but it's probably the same in home schooling. plus its fun to study with friends. As for tips, if people are mean to you, which isn't too often, just ignore them and go to your friends for support if you need it. It may take a while to trust others but you'll make so many good memories with your friends. I hope this helped in some way!

And about people not wanting to be your friend, just be yourself, and some one will come along ❤️ good luck!

I was never homeschooled but I did move 2,000 miles across the country so I know what it’s like to worry about some of those things, you really just have to stay calm. That’s the main key and if you’re shy just go up to a girl you find eligible to being your friend, and ask if you can sit with her. From that you can ask as many questions as you want about school. 🙂 If you really need help with study/organization tips maybe go over to the counselor she or he will have tips on that. (Also make sure you have a big backpack) I wish you all the best!

I've never been homeschooled, but here are a few tips I have! 1. Make friends! This might sound basic, but seriously, having friends will help you so much 2. Join clubs/sports. This also sounds basic XD but this is a great way to find friends and your "crowd" 3. Watch those "What I wish I knew before starting (middle/highschool)" videos online 4. Take studying breaks! There's a website called pomofocus.io and it's really helpful for studying |

Be yourself!! I moved to a different school a few years ago. It was easier to make friends when I was myself. I was only about 8 so i think it’s easier when people are younger. But i once watched this TED talk on YouTube, and the message was ‘fake it ‘till you make it’ and basically, if you feel like you can’t do it, pretend that you can, just don’t change who you are. See if you can find the video. Sorry i can’t find the link. I hope it goes well 🙂

you're welcome 🙂 it uses a thing called the pomodoro study method which basically means you study for 25 minutes (I change mine to either 20 or 15 minutes because focusing for a long time is hard for me) and then you get a 5 minute break (on pomofocus you can change the times for this as well). Pomofocus also gives you a longer break every 4 breaks you go through

ive been in local comps (local public schools with boys and girls) my whole life. bear in mind that there may be bullies, in fact, there definitely will be bullies. but as long as you show how strong you are, you should be fine. it helps to talk to everyone; you dont necessarily have to be friends with everyone. if you are picked on, laugh it off/ignore it. otherwise, youll have so many more problems than you need. remember to do all your homework on time too! dont worry too much about romances, dont do drugs and youll be fine! ❤️
