Hey! I want to know where people learned to make their friendship bracelets and if they have a cool story. Share yours here! 😄
I personally learned at my first year of YMCA camp from one of my counselors named Ducky (I think it was a nickname). I remember what my bracelet looked like: it was a messy candystripe with different shades of blue. Unfortunately, I lost it, but I wish I still had it for the memories. 😢

So I got a bracelet kit from my aunt, and I was like why not give it a try. So then I watch videos and tutorials and learned how to make bracelets. Then I started to love it. Then I go to my mom and I'm like I need new strings. After a year I finally made an account in Bracelet book. And I've loved bracelets ever since.

I got one of those butterfly frienship bracelet kit things with the pegs to hold your string for my birthday so that is how I learned then I lost the butterfly thing 😢 and so I stopped doing bracelets for years and then this year I got back into them and really learned how to do things with it. It is funny because my very first bracelet is a candy stripe and it switches directions soooo many times 😂 and the order I had the colors in constantly was changing so yeah lol

Here's how it started..

My family got me this friendship bracelet kit for my birthday which had a manual talking abt how to make bracelets . Then I decided to make one and at first I was terrible at the candy stripes and I was so mad I couldn't do it !! 😂 Then I started doing braided bracelets! After that I was searching up on how to make bracelets and a Masha Knots video came up on the flip-flop bracelet so I clicked on it and decided to make that ! Its wet and old now because I wore it sooo much !! And then i literally watched All her vids and learned a lot ! Soon enough I forced my parents to buy me string and yea ........... ! Ilsince July of 2020 I've been trying to make bracelets and I love them so far!
If u were wondering how I got onto braceletbook , I got on after watching Masha Knots videos where she reviewed patterns and then I came on here , learnt how to read patterns, got hooked and started making bracelets !

I'm self -taught and thanks to many youtubers and their videos im who I am in bracelets today !!😀😀😀😀

One of my good friends taught me how to make Chinese staircase bracelets, and then I found braceletbook while browsing the app store. YouTube helped me work out the kinks lol

The oldest sister of my family friends taught me when they were over for a barbecue. She had actually brought them planning on teaching me if I wanted to so big thanks to her! She was I think 13 at the time and now 15, so it was 2 years ago. She taught me how to make the Chinese staircase and I literally made that for over a year. Then I found Kinsey b and was watching one of her tutorials and found out about BraceletBook!

At school girls were doing Chinese staircases (I didn’t know that was the name and we called them spiral bracelets 😂) and braids and I joined in and then remote learning came and we did this thing called genius time where you work on a project of your choice and I chose bracelets then I found masha knots on YouTube and it kind of just started from there
