I tend to sit down and not speak for awhile.Doing something helps, but not as much. I wish I could help more but I don't tend to have that issue for some reason, though I should be given my past 😐 |

yoga has helped me a lot during these lockdown times. there are so many sessions on youtube from 5 minutes to 60min and i know that long walks in nature help me a lot, usually at the beginning i have to force myself to leave the house but i'm always feeling better afterwards. and not taking any moblie device with me is even more freeing hope you are doing okay, best wishes 😇 |

Keep a journal, if talking to people about it is hard its the next best thing and no one has to see it so you can write whatever you want or stick random stuff in it and even draw out what you’re feeling

Write it downGrounding( getting yourself aware of the present, you could go through the alphabet with desserts for ex.) Freeze a orange and then destroy it( as opposed to self harm) Color in a book Color on your hands Hold a frozen orange Listen to music If nothing else works Call a friend or mentor( they should be at least 18 if it’s suicidal thoughts) Call a crisis line |

Coping techniques.... phew... ok- breathing - excersice - creating realistic goals and setting a timeline - not leaving yourself a lone in a room, your mind will wander to places you don't wanna go - talk to someone - write in a journal - let someone know about what's going on in your life - make bracelets - do repetitive motions (bracelet making for example) - play an instrument - get lost in your music - write a poem - bullet journal - get a new hobby - try something new - clean - interact with a pet/animal - get a hug (those are pretty helpful) - a good healthy cry please know that whatever you are struggling with, you aren't alone and that you can get through anything. You are strong and know your personal worth. |
