I would first follow those doing similar work to yours to get inspired that is what I did to get started. I do not do captions I use hashtags but sometimes I use captions to explain my work. I work with different mediums so I try to categorize them in my highlight section. I think people will notice once you start posting your most unique projects and just try your best to stay active and involved. Hope this helped!
