Maybe Noodles thought, but why would Gloria be afraid of a fish named Noodles? Noodles wasn't even that big. And now that Gloria died ... well did she even die? The shark did not necessarily chew Gloria up, maybe Gloria was alive in the sharks stomach or just in the sharks mouth. Now Noodles was very confused.
