Help! every French of Dutch braid I try do do on myself looks really bad! Any tips? Or good videos to watch!?

I would just say to practice during your free time. I didn't really do too good in the beginning

i used to do 2 dutch braids until i got a haircut. all you can do is practice! best of luck!!

I learned over quarantine, ik it’s sounds rlly weird but don’t think about what ur doing, let’s ur hands do the work not ur brain. It’s how I learned hope that helps 😊

Maybe practice on somebody else’s hair first. Then when your good at that try to do it on yourself.

First of all, if you have very smooth or thin hair this might be the reason that your braids don't turn out well. In general I recommend to braid as close to your head as possible. Start at the top with small sections and continue adding small parts of hair as you continue. Try to braid tightly. |

try to practice in a doll hair if u don't want to get tired your hands! Im doing French braids every day and at the beginning My braids was awful. But I practice a lot and now they are amazing! You need to practise 👍

I have really thin hair, and I have found that with thinner hair they turn out better when the hair is dry, but when I am practicing on my friends with thick hair its easier when wet. Also keep practicing, it gets better with time. 🙂
