@horselove1 So craft cord is basically 2 strings twisted together instead of 6 strands for embroidery floss. It’s slightly thicker and the texture isn’t as soft as embroidery floss. I prefer to use it as base strings, but it also works for knotting. If you look at the photo I submitted for pattern #43056 , the base strings are craft cord. If you zoom in on the tassels, you might be able to see the texture better.

Honestly I usually have both and mix them in the bracelet but when I use embroidery floss I can work for longer amounts of time because I doesn’t hurt

Embroidery floss is *in my opinion*, easier to work with, bc i knot for hours at a time and my fingers can get blistered. Craft cord snaps all the time for me (probably bc i use the cheap brands). I also rlly like the 'shine' and 'glimmer' the floss has for the finished product compared to the dull craft cord (again, prolly bc I use cheap craft cord).

Embroidery Floss! With Embroidery floss the knots look so much neater and it’s a lot easier on ur hands. For me craft string would hurt my fingers. Also my bracelets have looked a lot better since I started using embroidery floss!

embroidery floss because the spiral shape of craft chord stretches out and unravels for me because I knot really tightly so when I use it the string starts out nice and thick and slowly gets thinner and snaps more easily than embroidery floss

I used to use embroidery floss but my friend gave me craft cord for my birthday (I don't think she knew the difference lol) and it's sooooo much better. I found one really good brand and it's never snapped, even though I tie my knows super tight!

Embroidery floss all the way because craft cord tends to break also embroidery floss is smoother to knot with

I am not sure if this is considered craft cord but it is the super cheap string you get in the butterfly clip board thingys for bracelets lol but I use that for my base strings but I mostly use embriodery floss
