Hey, so I really want to start selling my bracelets and keychains on Etsy. I have been thinking about it for a while, and I just really want to. I am still in school, but I get good grades and am always on top of my work. (not trying to flex) I did watch Alex's Innovations video but didn't find it super help full. 😐I do have a pretty good idea of what I would need, but I don't know how to start or to bring it up to my family or all the patterns I want to make.
What are ways that I could bring this up to my parents, and start doing it? I would start making them now, and then mabey start selling them later like in the spring or summer.
What are things I should know before I start?
What packaging do you use or is best?
Pricing and pricing help?
Really anything the help or any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
Also, what are patterns that I should make, normal and alpha. So far I want to do chevrons, candy-stripe, fishbone chevron, braided stitch, zigzag, the wave alpha, likely dino keychains, pride bracelets.

I would just tell your parents that you want to start working on opening an Etsy shop but that you are probably going to wait until spring/summer to actually start selling. As for other tips, I can’t really help you there because I don’t have a shop myself. But there are a bunch of videos on YouTube about starting an Etsy shop that you may be able to learn something from. Good luck! 😉

Some Tips: 😀
Social Media is soooo helpful
Make sure you ready to answer questions
When creating listings use as many tags as possible
Don't be afraid to ask family to share your page
Try to incorporate trends to your shop like if a certain tv show is popular make stuff with that
And most importantly make sure you are enjoying it!!!!!

I have a bracelet etsy shop! Feel free to message me any time for advice! Some tips are use a lot of hashtags, get costs as low as possible, offer a selection, and dont give up!
