I was just wondering what people that live in different places to for the holidays. I live in the Midwestern US and we normally go to 2-3 different peoples house for Christmas. My mom's side of the family is Italian so we eat homemade ravioli and lasagna. My dad's side is Norwegian/German and my Grandma my the BEST Lefse and Julekake. We love to watch Christmas movies and my favs are Elf, The Polar Express and live action How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Well since both my parents r Mexican we just eat the same thing for both sides of the family. We usually go visit my dads side of the family for Christmas Eve and eat tamales and everyone makes a special dish to bring for everyone. We then go visit my moms side of the family on Christmas Day and eat tamales (AGAIN), tacos, and some other stuff that I can’t rly remember.

We also wake up as early as we can (I let them sleep in until 7 until waking them up haha) and start opening presents on Christmas Day. My mom makes hot cocoa in the morning, we go to church, take Christmas photos, I play a Christmas song on the piano and then we leave to my tias house.

@Galaxy_Gal Wow! That sounds so fun. We do something kind of like that on Halloween(October 31st). We dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating. We go knock on peoples door and they give us candy. This year, I got 15 pounds.

On Christmas Eve we open our stockings which have some small presents in it. Then, on Christmas Day, we have to wait upstairs for a while til my parents tell us we can come downstairs. When we go downstairs we open our presents from Santa and it’s normally something that’s kinda expensive or big, and then my parents give us around ten presents each and me and my sisters give all of our family members presents. Then our cousins and grandparents come over and my grandma gives us around five presents each, and we eat dinner and in the morning we usually have cinnamon rolls 😜

I don't celebrate Christmas but I usually go to my friend's house they day before and give their parents their parents to hide, and then the next day, I'll go over and it's so funny because her younger siblings think Santa snuck the gift under the tree. And they're German, so they have this pickle ornament on the Christmas tree and whoever finds it gets an extra present. It's so funny watching 6 people attack/hug a Christmas tree 😂
