These are some of my top unpopular bracelet opinions- Multi-color thread is sooo much better than sparkly thread - Craft cord isn't really the best for bracelet making, except if it's DMC Cotton Pearl, that stuff is indestructible - DMC floss is very hard to work with and it snaps very easily - the straight edges technique does nothing to your alphas if you aren't good at making them - tying our knots tighter produces a better bracelet than tying them loose |

I really don't agree to much 😂 i just got some sparkly thread and i feel i can use it more than multi color and then the straight edges i love that it has really helped

Also i have tried a lot of different threads and i have only ever had a thread snap once in the years i have done this and it was just some cheap thread my biggest thing is i don't like knotting with the twisted thread

@hamster4 that's a great point of view! I used to use craft cord exclusively, but then I got into a bracelet slump, and when I go out of it, I realized how cheap the craft cord I was using is and how easily it snapped. I was so fed up so I just ordered some embroidery floss online. I may be a little biased now because embroidery floss and cotton pearl are all I use now but it still made me become a better bracelet maker.I can see why you like sparkly more than multicolor. I just find it a lot harder to work with, and it isn't as enjoyable to wear. But then again, I may be a bit biased because I do have a bad history with sparkly thread. 😂 |

Metallic thread is too much of a hassle for the end product

I disagree with the straight edge one. I feel that the technique really does help your alphas. I do agree with the fact that multi color thread is better than sparkly and that tying knots tighter is better.

@Emakes I can see where you're coming from. I feel like my alphas have been getting progressively better, and I'm still having trouble keeping them completely straight but you are right in that sense.

I agree with almost all except I like DMC thread and multi color thread is easier to work with but sparkly thread looks cooler
