@blackwolf2, i think you should approach her saying "hi". That way she says hi back and a conversation starts.

@greenbean1 that's good advice, I'm not implying it's not just any other advice because I have the exact same problem. I have known this girl for a while and it seems that she tried to be my friend last year but I didn't know what to talk about with her and I'm shy so I think she just gave up after a while sadly. Please more advice!!!

If you have the same interest maybe you can try to talk to her about them. If she wears fandoms shirts that you are in go up to her and tell her you like her shirt and if it's a tv show/book ask her what's her favorite character. If it's a band shirt ask for her favorite song. The conversation should flow naturally from there

@Fliparz, if she is with another friend that you know you can still walk up to your friend and say hi. You might get a little bit of confidence to make eye contact and say hi to the other girl.

I had this one huge fight with my former friends and then we went our separate ways. I was sitting alone against a brick wall during recess and she came to me. We talked and basically we found out that we both wanted to be each other's friend but we were to shy. So now we're really good friends.
