Hi everyone! I just want to know why you make bracelets/keychains/wall hangings etc. I do it because I find it very relaxing and I like to create stuff. What about you? 🙂 |

It’s fun, enjoying to make, It makes me happy, I can forget about everything else while making bracelets, everyone I know is fascinated by my bracelets, I can give them away, sell them, etc

I'm gonna be honest,I don't really know why I make them because I only wear the bracelets that go with the season and the rest just go in a box and I kinda just forget about them then I have friends come over and I usually just tell them they can have any of the bracelets that are in the box unless it is a really special one,like one time I went camping and taught a friend how to make a candy stripe and I still have the bracelet that I used to teach her

I started making them because all my friends seemed to like them, but once the fad passed or whatever, I kept making them because I liked being able to create things. Now I take pride in being able to knot bracelets much better and with much more complex patterns than any of my friends. They seem to like getting surprise bracelets every once in a while, too. They all mostly stopped learning after they knew how to make a basic chevron, most of them don't even know how to read a pattern lol

I make them because it helps me deal with anxiety, and it’s just a nice outlet to have. I also love seeing the final product.

I love making bracelets because it helps me with my depression, anxiety, and eating disorder. I don't sell my bracelets or make them for myself. I give them as gifts/donations. I spend a lot of time at doctor appointments, and often give them to people in the waiting room and medical staff as a random act of kindness. It is a way I can share a piece of myself with others, and it makes me feel a little better knowing that I brightened someone's day. I struggle with social anxiety and giving bracelets is a way I can connect with people. 😊

i love hearing my mama gasp at my newest bracelets. and its a pretty steady source of income for me (by this i mean i make about a pound a week, this is a lot of money if you are 12 and living in southeast england) ❤️
