When making an alpha bracelet have you ever miscounted the strings and didn't realize until it was too late?

Yesh 👉👈 but i always find a way of out it, i just cut off the extra base string.I dont really like that bb counts the leading string as a base string cuz i always miscount. Its my only issue with bb |

Not when it was too late, but I started a keychain recently and realized I don’t have enough base strings, but it was only one row in so I could add in an extra one

yes!!!! i have done this but luckily the pattern was easy to change because it wasn’t like a logo or anything difficult to change

sometimes i skip a base string when i’m knotting and tbh i don’t fix it i just make sure i get it in the next row. i’m working on a really long alpha and the amount of mistakes i have made is absolutely unreal lol

oh my gosh yes. I accidentally looked at # of strings instead of the dimensions, and I did it on the 3 wave pattern, and so my lines kept shifting right then left and nothing was connected and i didn't notice till i was done.... so frustrating.
