They said the world was going to end in 2012 and look where we are now... secondly, the world isn’t ending for another few billion years. Thirdly, you have to watch your sources because some people just say stuff like that to scare people.

@Update the world was going to end on December 21, 2012 according to the mayan calendar and a prophecy, but there’s science to prove that they were wrong. People also said it was going to end on June 21, 2020, which obviously didn’t happen. Now they’re saying December 21, 2020. All of this is from a calendar from thousands of years ago that ended in 2012. Now, people are just coming up with weird conspiracy theories that have no scientific evidence whatsoever. Also, they’re saying that because the great conjunction is happening on Dec 21, that the world is going to end. Which again isn’t true because there was a conjunction in 2000, and the world was just fine. It doesn’t impact out planet because saturn and jupiter, which is 365 million miles away from Earth. From my understanding, it seems more like a religious conspiratorial thing then a scientific thing. @alissaruth @Someony @Etown

People say the world will end all of the time the truth is we do not know when the end of our world will come and as a Christian I believe the end of the world means the return of Jesus.

okay here is the thing, people believed that the world was going to end in 2012, and they think it is going to end again this year in December. But that is not likely, because the only way for the world to end would be if the sun died, but the sun is not set to die for another 6 billion years. so I think they might mean it spiritually, I heard this as well (from my little sister) And I was so confused.
