Ok so this might seem like a weird post but I've always been interested in this lmao. I'm right-handed but I wanna be left-handed lol. I even write w my left hand when Im bored 😂😂

Funny story...When I was born, my parents thought I was gonna be right-handed like both of them. So when I was a baby, they kept handing me toys in my right hand, and things like that. As I grew older and learned to write, I wrote with my right hand because I was used to it by then. But I had a really weird grip on my pencil (and still do, to this day.) My arm curved weirdly inward when I wrote. I grasped my pencil in a fist, and my handwriting was absolutely TERRIBLE up until around fifth or sixth grade. I then concentrated on improving my writing, and it did get better — today it's not bad, actually. I still have a strange grip though. My mom thinks it's because I was going to be left-handed, but then, since my parents sort of encouraged me to be right-handed, I sorta switched. But I still do some things with my left hand, like use a knife or throw a ball. Anything that requires strength, like cutting through something, I do with my left hand. Anything that requires precision, like writing, I do with my right hand. But I recently started taking fencing lessons, and I have to decide whether I'm right- or left-handed, because in fencing you can only hold the sword with one hand. This is a problem, because fencing requires strength AND precision. When I use my right hand, I have excellent aim, but I always tire very quickly. When I use my left hand, it doesn't get tired, but I can't aim very well. So... I don't know 😂 |

@Fluffball there's a really cool test to figure out if you are right- or left-handed. You take a pen in your left and and one in your right hand. You write normally with the right hand but mirror the movement with your left hand so you are writing backwards. Then you can take a mirror and check the writing you did with your left hand. If it's smoother you are left-handed.I think you can practice both strength and precision so I recommend you choose the hand for fencing that feels more comfortable or that comes more natural to you. |

I am left handed but I do almost everything else with my right hand (except for writing)Its so weird cause when I try to throw or play sports I do everything with my right hand. People are always confused when they find out I am left handed cause I have been doing pretty much everything right handed for a while. |

I am left handed however I only write,draw or colour with my left hand. I find that in many sports my right hand is easier to use but I don't play too many sports so its usually just on a wii u game that i figure that out. In baseball i'm left handed, archery i'm right handed. I sleep on my right and left side but on roller coaster or anything in general i like to be on the right side 😂in crafts I will switch hands for different knots because I can't just knot both knots with the same hand and when I learned to knit I learned with my right hand (I think) so I'm technically left handed but its really confusing....

I'm ambidextrous! I write with my right hand and do basically everything else with my left 😂 In trying to learn how to write with my left hand too
