So I’ve seen some friendship bracelets in stores that I kind of what to buy since I only have cash at the moment but I’m not sure if I should. Like where in the world do companies get these types of friendship bracelets from?

depending on the company, they can get these bracelets from many places. some companies get them for very little money from overworked women who do not get much (if any) pay. others do “fair trade” in which the people that make the bracelets get paid a fair price. i would look up the companies and maybe try calling them or sending a message to see where they get their products from.

yeah, i get what you mean. if it were me, i wouldn’t buy any from stores that don’t tell you where they came from. maybe try ordering bracelets from etsy shops! or maybe look at some local boutiques and small businesses! it’s great to support small businesses if possible! if not having a credit/debit card is a problem, there are actually etsy gift cards you can get. i’ve seen them at some stores in the us. it might be different for people living in canada though.

the other day i was in a store and there was tons of cute clothes and jewelry. i saw friendship bracelets there that were chevrons. personally i didn't think it was worth buying because i can make my own for under 5 dollars and these were selling for that amount. if you're buying from and etsy shop then i feel like it's different because you know that you're supporting a small creator and they may have better quality items then the bracelets they make in factories.
