Those of you who buy off-brand thread off of Amazon (as opposed to DMC thread from a craft store for example), what brands do you buy? Do you get them in bulk? Do they have color-shifting thread there—? I've looked but can't find any.I buy LOVIMAG thread. I tried Le Paon and HATED it. The strings separated super easily, which might be good for embroidery, I guess, but for knotting it was annoying as heck. They would constantly fray and snap. And they were a lot thinner than normal embroidery floss. I've heard a lot of people say that they like Le Paon thread, so maybe it was just one bad experience. Or I'm just really picky 😂 But I do prefer LOVIMAG thread. Near-DMC quality for a great price. Let me know your thoughts on Amazon thread! |

Oh I HATE Le Paon too! I had the exact same experience you had. I am currently using a nameless thread from Amazon, I don’t have the link right now but I’ll try to get it soon. This one is way better btw, it’s super satiny and soft. Megan Morris reviewed it in her video knotting dangerously Ep.4. Oh I just realized she probably has the link in her description box 😂

I don't have a specific seller on amazon, but i buy the 300 pack for i think 15 dollars. it's really great quality and so cheap for the amount i get! PLUS free 1 day shipping! whoop whoop!

The brand I get off of Amazon and I think it is Caydo or something close to that....they stuff for embroidery but I just buy the floss.

I got my black and white embroidery floss from Peirich on Amazon. It's good quality and comes with like 15-20 bobbins.
