@Elsie64 The first time I did track. Boy that night I got muscle pains like I've never felt before. Your muscles probably haven't been conditioned to that sort of muscle growth. Hydration also plays a big role. Building muscles and working out takes a lot of body fluids and you have to keep those up. If you ever have Cramping and soreness the #1 reason would probably be lack of stretching or not enough water. Don't give up though, your body will get used to it, and It'll thank you in the future 😄

@kmmorell I don’t even like working out tho the only thing I like is roller skating and skating and stuff and I don’t feel like doing something every day that just makes me feel miserable 😩 if I actually try working out in gym and I actually do it and don’t just slack off it always makes me sore after and that’s why I don’t want to work out cuz I don’t want to make myself too sore to do actual exercises that I can really do like skateboarding and roller skating. And I swear there is not a single person in my school who can’t do push-ups or sit-ups and I can’t touch my toes or anything and I just want to be able to do it 😒😞😔😟😕🙁☹️☹️😣😖😫😩🥺😢😭

And I also feel so overwhelmed about if I ever even learn how to do anything which is really unlikely like what do I do everyday do I just do a few random exercises or do I actually have to have like a plan nothing even makes any sense

Hey, I am not sure if someone mentioned this above but I am an Exercise sports science major. This is what I can say there are a lot of factors that go into place when wanting changes within your body composition. Some of these factors are making sure you are doing the right type of exercise for the goals you have set, so make sure you are being as specific as possible. I also do HIIT and those generally are endurance workouts they help improve your cardiovascular system and endurance but to see changes within your body you may have to incorporate more. For example, increasing intensity and time spent as you did say you have been doing this for a couple of months now! Feel free to message me and we could possibly talk more and see if there is anything we can change about your routine to help see results but results generally do take a while to show everyone's body is different and you do not always receive visual results those come much further down the line. If you have already seen change and hit like a plateau this happens often you have to be patient.

@Elise64 exercising doesn't have to be a hardcore workout routine, you could skate, maybe walk around the park for a while. If you don't feel like doing a workout that's fine, although consistency is key. I know I always dreaded doing those YouTube tutorials, it made it too easy to give up. So I started working out with my friends. Sometimes we'd just ran around the park a couple of times until we felt better.
For some, weight training and intensive cardio is their thing, sometimes a long run is for another, you might just try to board around more or roller skate more often. If I don't exercise I stretch and drink water and maybe go for a walk with my pup. Try to just stretch or maybe try yoga. I know it looks easy... but some of those positions really help strengthen your core and build muscle. If you got a strong core (abdominal muscles) I found it makes life a bit easier. They don't have to have a ripped 6 pack in order to do it, or even showing, but a strong core helps with running and balance. For those pushups and sit-ups yeah they suck. Men can typically can do upper body exercises better than women cuz our muscles are built differently. In the morning just do 1-2 and then when they start getting easier add 2-3 each day. If it starts getting hard, then just stick to that number for the next couple of days. With sit ups.... just start doing crunches and then maybe go into a full sit up. I usually start with a: v-up down to a 6 inch hold and then a sit up and start all over If you don't know what any of those exercises are just search them up. Just remember that Exercising shouldn't be a chore shouldn't be something you dread, it should be something you want to do, and if you feel like giving up, just remember how it felt like the last time you finished.

@ClydeKitty i enjoy doing Pilates. There’s an instructor named Cassey Ho who runs a popular YouTube channel called Blogilates. She has a lot of great videos and offers a free workout calendar for beginners on her website blogilates.com. I totally recommend it 🙂

@riley_fxX So weight training can actually help you slim down a lot, just lift lighter weight more times, and not heavy weight short amount of times. Good luck!
