ok so i have this crush on this kid whos two years older than me and we talk alot like more than three hours everyday and he thinks that i dont have a crush on him anymore and he was saying that he was ugly so i told him its his personality that matters and my friend wanted me to ask him if he was single cause she knew but them he said no but then we talked more and then he told me even if i didnt ask that he wouldent date me cause i was two years younger.do you think love has and age? |

Well it does certainly but not 2 years in my opinion. It’s wrong for a minor to date an adult obviously for many reasons and like anything over 3 years in my eyes is way too much of a difference. However I don’t date and I haven’t ever fallen in love. It’s like how you could easily be friends with someone 2 years younger. Again I could be wrong though idk

idk i disagree. i’ve seen young people marry like really old people and call it love and who are we to say it isn’t you know? if it truly is love you are feeling for this guy then you shouldn’t tell yourself the age difference is a problem in my opinion. i really like this one guy who is also two years older than me, and i think i loved someone a year younger. im not sure if i should be the one giving love advice but hey you’re doing something right if you get to talk to the guy you like, or love, for 3+ hours every day! i could never lol just not my personality

hes a school friend but we chat online since covid. dont worry im smart i wont go falling in love with a stranger. ive had a crush on him for over a year and i might be halucinating but i thinks hes catching feelings cause i was the only one he trusted even though hes had friends hes known for longer and he laughs at like everything i say.

Ok wow this is a really deep question!! I think there’s really no age to love (just like there’s no price to love) but there will still be people who are going to look at you weird if there’s a really big age difference. In your case, I think you should be okay, as long as the feelings are mutual. My parents are 7 years apart in age, and they’re doing alright! As you grow older, I think you will start to realize that age doesn’t matter as much as it did when you were younger. Maybe talk to this boy for a bit longer, and then ask him for his feelings! If he says he likes you as well, you can work out the disagreements about age!

I feel like it only matters in school then you get older and as long as it isn't like super young and older than it doesn't matter....my parents are like 6 years apart lol
