It is hard for me to trust people. Although it has to do with the fact that my bio father was abusive to my mom, and luckily they got a divorce. He never hurt me in any way; because my mom protected me. A few years later my mom got married to a guy at our church. not many people can say they picked out their dad, but I did. I loved him before my mom did. Shortly after they got married he adopted me, and I got to have his last name. It is hard for me to open up to guys my age; because I don’t want to make the same mistakes my mom did. I am trying to get past that though.

I’ve never met either one of my grandfathers. My dad’s dad died before I was born and my mom’s dad was really mean and rude to her so she won’t let me meet him.
