Hi, so I feel like there are quite a lot of LGBTQ+ people on this site. I have recently realised that I’m not straight and am currently questioning and would love to hear people’s stories and just generally chat 😀 🏳️🌈 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

hiii!!! i’m really proud of you for being yourself with no shame : ) i’m confused as well i don’t like labeling myself. i honestly don’t remember the exact realization of me not being straight. i am currently dating a trans man and i love him with my whole heart. i’m always open to talk to anyone for advice or just be a friend!

@cait7313 thanks!I’m not out to my family yet though I don’t really feel the need to be since I’m not dating yet (I’m pretty certain that when I do decide to come out that they will be supporting of whoever I want to be) at the moment I’m only out to one of my friends (she is pan) |

i totally get it! it took me a while to tell my family because of my own personal insecurities but they were supportive! i believe i’m pan too? but still a bit confused haha

I also want to say that I’m very grateful that I know supportive people and I feel sad for people who don’t live in a supportive investment and can’t be themselves.

I'm at the point where I'm trying to figure out my label and its lowkey kinda hard because there are so many aspects to it but I have time to figure all that out and that's the beauty of it

@bsoftball LGBTQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and the + is for all the other non heterosexual or cisgender identities. The longer version of this is LGBTQIA+ (with I being intersex and A being asexual) If you don't know what any of these words mean I suggest doing your own research, as there are so many.

I totally understand you! Since I'm 6 years old I knew I weren't straight but now a days I know that I pan and if feels good to have a LGBTQIA+ family to support, even if my "real" family doesn't know nothing about it

A lot of my time last summer was spent realizing that I wasn’t straight and figuring out what I actually identify as, which is pansexual. I’m still not out but it’s a relief to have a concrete word for what I was feeling. And everyone on BraceletBook is so nice and supportive, especially all the LGBTQ+ knotters on here, it’s kind of like our own mini family.
