Hi!! I’m rereading books right now but I want to read some new ones. Do y’all have any recommendations for YA books? I’m 12 but I have a higher reading level. If it helps some books that I liked as a kid were Harry Potter, The Land of Stories, The Five Kingdoms, The School for Good and Evil, and The Mysterious Benedict Society. Thank you and have a nice day!!! : )

Maybe u would like a court of thorns and roses, I haven’t read it but it seems really good and it’s more mature then her last series

Def read the hunger games. It is for teens/older readers but if you are a more advanced reader, you might like it. It is a little gory in some parts, especially in the third book of the series.

I really like Mindhunter but I think is better to check the book rating because is really hard to read (pS.: A friend of mine threw up reading it)

- Molly Moon and the incredible book of hypnotism by Georgia Byng
- Eighth grade bites by heather brewer
- Stormbreaker by anthony horowitz
- full tilt by neal shusterman

also heads up for one of the posts above: a court of thorns and roses is SO GOOD, but it’s definitely for a way older audience. there are a bunch of pretty graphic sex and violence scenes

@ezilabeth I don't really know what kinds of books you like, but the ones I'd recommend are the Septimus Heap series (book one is called Magyk) by Angie Sage and the Ascendance series by Jennifer A. Nielsen, the first book in that is called The False Prince.

I would also recommend The Giver, by Lois Lowry. It's actually the first book of a series, but I loved the first book and hated the other three books in the series...

Fablehaven!!! Pls read it I love all of the books u like, I’ve read Harry Potter, land of stories, and the school for good and evil. I’m also twelve but have a very high reading level. Fablehaven is one of my favorites. Also the Black Witch, which is a trilogy and I LOVED it. Heads up, it can be pretty graphic and violent at times, but I get scared easily and I was fine. It also has some hard concepts.

I think you'd probably like the Cinder series by Marissa Meyer based on the books you already like. Also maybe the Thirst series by Christopher Pike, I myself have really loved them both.
Happy reading!
