It’s a mix! I can do complicated normals but they can be frustrating and large alphas are hard to keep track of

I'd say the alphas are the harder type. Masha's knots videos were really helpful for making them look polished. Switching multiple times in 1 line is going to take time to get used to... Normal can be hard to start but after the first or second rep the strings fall into place easier and you can see the pattern better

Normals because with them I have to carefully look a the pattern or I will get lost and with alpha if a made a mistake I can easily see where according to the picture Im making, plus they are more fun to knot 🤪
