What do you mean by the original meaning of Christmas? For me my favourite holiday is Christmas and Easter as they are tied in my opinion. I love that at Christmas I get to bake and cook a lot, do lots of different activities, and there’s many aspects to Christmas including the religious parts which I celebrate. As for Easter it’s equally important as it’s the celebration of the resurrection and I love to celebrate and go to the Easter service that my church holds.

@2006_Mandy. I celebrate Christmas for the gift giving and receiving. I enjoy the entire aspect of Christmas, but I am not celebrating the birth of Christ, as I am not Christian. Hope that answers your question.

Oh yes that does. To me I do celebrate the birth of Christ and that’s what makes it so special for me but I understand why you like it and I agree!
