Hi - so I am just learning how to crochet and would love just any tips. Also, I don’t know how to end a project, and I tried looking on YouTube, but each video is a different way so I’m really confused. If you could just say what your favorite/most effective is that would be a big help! Even just a YouTube video that you guys used to learn would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi! How I end my projects is I cut the string and then tie a knot and tuck the excess string into the project. Hope this helps!

Yeah there's a lot of ways to end a project but I cut the string then make my loop on the hook bigger and bigger until the end comes out. Then I tighten the end and tuck it in my project. Hope this helps!!

I don’t have a yarn needle tho... I think I would need one if I cut the string and tucked it

I use yarn needles. You can get a two pack from Michaels for only 1 dollar

To finish you can also do a simple edge using slip stitch. Cut the yarn before you finish an fold it inside your stitch ( I'm bad in explainig things, sorry). For me the better way is as @PotatoPeel said and use a yarn needle to tuck it.

to end most of my projects i'll chain 1 then cut the string and just pull it through the chain! it works perfectly fine every time!
