Alrighttt so I’m going to college next school year and I have plans on being a doctor. What courses would be good? I was thinking Psych but I need more opinions hahaha.
And thoughts of med school in general. 😱

Yeah, definitely talk to your school counselor. I’m confused on if you mean I school classes or not tho. If you mean high school classes, they don’t really matter that much (unless they’re AP or dual enrollment). High school classes are introductory and they’re just used as a baseline for colleges to see how you do in certain subjects. Like, if you fail chemistry and then apply to be a chemistry major, they probably won’t like that. But if you mean *college* classes, you should talk to your college counselor once you get in. Don’t stress about it now because it’s pointless. Your college counselors are there to tell you what they know, so you should use them. Plus, your high school counselor doesn’t know what you need to take in order to get your college degree. They just want you to graduate high school.

i plan on going into pre-med too! def ask your counselor and take as many science classes as you can! try to shadow different doctors/dentists if you can (just to get a feel for whether a certain job will be right for you!)
