so I want to start an Esty and I have a couple of questions. I think I am pretty good at bracelet making I can make big bracelets and mostly anything if you give me a pattern so how much should I sell per bracelet? how much money does Esty take? should I sell packs surprise packs or per bracelet what sells better? thanks, guys! P.S I would love to look at your Esty so please tell me the name! |

I’m not the best person to answer this because I haven’t made my first sale yet on Etsy 🙁, but I’ll try my best. Etsy takes multiple fees, 20 cents when you want to list an item( you have to pay this every 4 months unless your listing sells out), they also take two other fees/percentages- I believe a processing fee and I can’t remember the other. They have the calculations for these fees on their website in the FAQ section, so you can calculate that for prices. As for what to sell I don’t know, because I haven’t found what works for me yet, but I think that you should definitely take a look at successful shops. Another thing to add is that it takes a lot of time, which I didn’t realize how much time it actually takes. I don't have an etsy but i've been looking into it too and for the prices what i saw is common is that they price smth like 50 cents per string (i personally think that's to much, i'd do like 15/30 cents per string) plus 1€ per every hour it took to make

@Aebegayle I really don't know how I convinced my mom but if they don't want you to have more money maybe just do it for fun and sell the braclets for free ( well kinda for free because you can't on Esty but enough money to pay them)

@Aebegayle ikr lol like idk what you want to use the money on with an Etsy like if you’re going to keep the money or give it to a charity or something but like if you wanted to buy something for yourself your parents wouldn’t have to pay for it lol so that doesn’t really make sense 😂
