It literally worked for me. You go on strike. What’s the ‘stike’ you ask. Tell them no hugs, kisses, or cuddles. Ik it is savage, but it works, did for me in 2nd grade

Honestly the only reason parents wouldn't give their kids phones is because of the creeps and thing on the internet they don't want you to see. But I definitely don't agree with parents not giving their kids phones because they need it for safety and stuff, and all that need to do is tell you how to be safe and the things on the internet they don't want you to see...your gonna see and learn about it at some point like 🤷😂

I just got my phone, and I’m in middle school, so I feel you. I would point out that it is hard to meet up with friends because of quarantine and having a phone would make u more connected. In my school, the teachers will tell us to take out our phones and take a picture of something. There was one time *little bit of a story here* our school had a fox on the loose, and it was rabid and really big, so we couldn’t go out to recess or anything cause the fox was on the playground, and to leave the school a parent needed to come get you so you like, wouldn’t be attacked by a fox, so we had to call our parents to come get us, but I couldn’t lol do I had to hang out until I could use someone else’s phone to get out of the school. Lol so that really helped me to get a phone like a year later

honestly, idk.I have a phone but the only condition my parents let me get it is because of an app named family link. It monitors your hours on the phone. your parents have to accept your app requests. They can lock your phone whenever you want. Also they can put a screen limit, like mine is only an 1:30 hours but sometimes i leave my phone on when i'm texting my friends and that still counts as if you were using. I wouldn't recommend it but if you really desperately need one, you could tell them about this app.

My mom said that she won't get me a phone until I'm 16, but she got me an iPod touch that I can text on with wifi so I guess that's better than nothing
