Some of my favorites right now are...Neverworld Wake - This one's about a girl whose boyfriend died near the end of senior year. She gets back together with her friend group when she's on break from college and they get in a car accident that leaves them between the land of the living and the land of the dead. They keep living the same day over again and at the end of the day they vote on who gets to live but it has to be unanimous so it takes a super long time. Eventually they like hop around in time and stuff to see how the boyfriend got murdered but I won't say anymore cuz I don't want to spoil it for y'all 🙂 Scythe - i gotta go soon so here's a shorter summary lol: so its in the future and people no longer die of sickness and stuff like that. to keep the population under control they have these people who are hired to kill people. some people take it seriously and are sad about it and stuff but some think its fun. anyway these two kids are trained to be one of the murderers but only one gets to actually become one and at the end the "winner" of sorts has to kill the other. but obviously they dont wanna so that's kinda the conflict The Blood of Emmett Till - I'm sure y'all have heard of Emmett Till. A good book about his murder American Fire - Haven't read this one yet but it's about arsonists I think Red Rising - Haven't read this one yet either but basically it's about this society that's based on skin color but the highest class is the ones with gold skin and the lowest is the ones with red. the reds are these people who live underground on mars i think and they've been told they're like the test group to try to make mars livable. They've been down here their whole lives so they don't know that actually they're just powering the lives of the golds who live on the surface. one of them eventually undergoes cosmetic surgery that makes him look like a gold so obviously he find out and since I haven't read it yet IDK what happens next but I'll get to it soon 🙂 |

@JJbracklet I really enjoyed Wintergirls as well, but I think my top two would be Fever 1793 and The Impossible Knife of Memory! I have not read the Seeds of America series.

I LOVE the Alex Verus series by Benedict Jacka!If you like modern day magic (like Harry Potter), I highly recommend this book. It is darker than Harry Potter, and is packed full of action and adventure. 😊 |

The best book in the world is carry on by rainbow Rowell I absolutely adore this book and suggest it to any ya readers the secular is not as good but is still a great book there is going to be a 3rd in the series next year and I am so excited to read it
