Hi! So after school I'm getting my ears pierced. Any advice?

just grit your teeth and hold your breath. Try your best not to think about it, dwell on how good that ice cream you had at that restaurant was, or how cute that guys dimples are 😂 it really does help 😉

ya, as @fuzzyfox said, just distract yourself, maybe talk to someone while you are doing it, and it doesn't hurt that bad, it is really just a pinch, and then it feels hot. 😊

don’t be afraid to speak up if you don’t like where the piercer puts the little placement dots! make sure you like where they are and then let them know if you don’t

Don't freak out beforehand. When I got my nose pierced, I panicked and ended up fainting after they finished

Also, ask them to clean the needle in front of you so you know it's sterile

Well i remember when i got my ears pierces(6 years old) i was very indecisive because i wanted them then i did not want them. but i made up my mind and got them and it was worth it but what i did after i went to the foods court (the percing place was at the mall and i got ice cream which made it better some how and the pinch during the piercing is just a little scary because i thought it was going to hurt but it did not really. when i was 8 tho i took them out for 3 months to let my ears have a break for some reason and the whole closed up so DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR EARRINGS IN.hope this helps some how dont think it will tho if i dose plz tell me k, bye hope it goes well from:@Avacado113 |

Really i worked! i did not think it would work for anyone else because i was very crazy at the time and i still am.Glad it help tho. what kind of earrings did you get like diamond or studs? |

If you have sensitive skin, try not to use metal earrings. It can lead to some pretty nasty infections and irritations. Take care of them so they don't close up either!

back in elementary school, many years ago, my friend got hers pierced for the first time and got flat earrings.. one of the earrings went inside her ear and got lost... sooo dont get flat earrings for a new piercing..

I got mine pierced when I was 6 months. Put I have a 3 cartilage piercings those hurt a bit more, it ain’t very painful
