You can just put down a book or movie title that you think is overrated... we can agree to respect each other's opinions 😂So I think Avatar (the blue people one) is kinda overrated. |

@rumpleknot Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I love harry potter, but I do think people hype it up too much. Sure, it's a good series, but still.

literally any john green book. almost every female character is a manic pixie dream girl, i hate the way the male characters talk about women (even if it's realistic it's super uncomfortable and shouldn't be normalized), and i feel like they just read as very "fake-deep"

I swear, the City of Bones books were the worst I ever tried. I read the first book and half of the second, and I couldn't get any farther. I was the target demographic, reading level, love fantasy, but NOPE

@IDonutCare i've heard good things about turtles all the way down but unfortunately that's the only one i haven't read. also i agree on divergent. tris was so annoying, the "purity war" made no sense, and the worldbuilding was awful.

Harry Potter bc it just takes a while to read each book especially the thick ones and the plot starts out really boring and takes a long time to get interesting
