So I made a forum about this a few months ago but my mom said that I would have to have my own patterns for my Etsy and I said that you don’t but she thinks I do. Are there copyrights on patterns on BraceletBook because there are so many great patterns and I don’t have a lot of patterns, and if I were to give credit I feel like people would just make the bracelets and not buy them.

I don’t believe so. The mods and admin know people have Etsy on here and when people make patterns they have to agree for them to be submitted for people to use. I don’t understand why people would have to come up with their own patterns to sell them. If there was copyright then technically we wouldn’t be allowed to make other people’s patterns.

@Hazel23 yes that is right! Whoever creates the pattern owns its copyright this does not mean making a bracelet from the pattern is copyrighted it means you cannot take the pattern and claim it as yours. Since anybody can make bracelets from the thousands of patterns on bracelet book and the purpose is to share patterns that others can make you can for sure make bracelets using these patterns and sell them just like many people do.
