has anyone else read six of crows? i just finished it and i cant wait to read crooked kingdom! i loved all of the characters a lot but inej is just amazing in every way and jesper has so many iconic quotes. exhibit a: “he had finally seen the infamous kaz brekker without a stitch of clothing and he’d been too worried about ending up on a pike to pay proper attention” exhibit b: kaz: who would deny a poor cripple his cane? jesper: if the cripple is you, anyone with sense

i also love kaz as a very morally gray protagonist who rarely takes the high road. it’s almost refreshing to read about people who genuinely aren’t perfect, and aren’t fundamentally good people. (ex: the eyeball 🤮 i’m still not over that) nina is so funny and i love her complicated relationship with matthias. also her and inej’s friendship is literal goals and her powers remind me of blood bending from avatar lmao

i hated matthias at first with his whole “ugh i hate grisha i’m gonna kill nina oh but i love her” but i love his character development. finally i loved wylan and the whole thing with his father but if pekka rolins gets a chapter so should he >: ( in all seriousness i get why he doesn’t have any but i’m excited for his pov in the next book!

Never read it but my sister is reading it currently but she is super annoyed because i think this is the book that has a love triangle and from what j have heard the romances are weird so she just keeps putting it off

I've read both six of crows and crooked kingdom and they are one of my favourite books of all time❤️
