Are there any of you that are stressing about school this year. I’m stressing a lot because I’m going back and it will be so different. It’s also the last year of middle school for me and I know some of the teachers aren’t super nice and most of my friends (who were the only supportive ones) went to high school 😖 |

Just don't worry too much. My 8th grade year was a normal one, yeah. The work isn't overly advanced though. If I remember, middle school had a good chunk of the year always going over review material. No sweat. 👍

Same! Honestly I've been freaking out abt school. I think grade 8 is considered the last year of middle school in USA and other countries, right? (I'm Canadian and we don't use the term middle school we say junior high lol). But ye, I'm going to the eighth grade and I'm extremely overwhelmed. Although I do have many supportive friends, I'll admit I'm going thru lots I'd rather not share with them atm cuz i don't wanna bother them. Plus...my entire life I've overworked myself to score in the high 90%'s which for me is like crazy hard cus im under average typically lmao. That, on top of all the ppl who r jerks towards me, on top of my home life and everything, is just freaking me out lol. If you wanna talk about it hmu, I wanna be there for u ❤️Just wanted to say don't worry abt the teachers. I've had a lot of....somewhat under average teachers in terms of kindness and commitment. But honestly as long as u work hard and try ur best u can try not to let em get to u. Sry to hear ur supportive friends went to high school, you can try to stick with those whom u think seem trustworthy. I suggest not getting too attached at first until u rlly get to know them to avoid getting somewhat 'hurt' if they do smthn to u. And also if u ever need to talk lmk 😉 Ik its gonna be rlly diff when u go bk to school cuz of corona and everything (I was homeschooled up until gr4, then i went to public school gr 5 and 6, and now, I'm in an online based school, which was rlly ironic since everyone ended up going to online school in the spring), so I might not rlly know what it's like to go back to school. But remember to maintain the social expectations of social distancing and stay safe, everything will hopefully get better soon. Anyways sry abt the super long message 😂 Much love!! |

I will get in trouble if I get anything below 80 and my dad is disappointed when I get b’s and we also call it junior high here too. It depends on this person. I’m sort of in the same situation as for me my best friend is in grade 8 and I’m in grade 9. But like also I have no clue what the school year will be like as my board hasn’t given any plans two weeks ahead of when we should be starting. I feel like we will be starting a lot later but like it’s scary not knowing what school will be like other than knowing it’s every other morning with procedures in place. I hope you have a great year anyway. There are pros and cons for every situation so although it will be different at least remember you will be at a lower risk of getting sick and that’s why it will be so different. Have a great year!

I’m pretty stressed I started 3 weeks ago and I’m doing school virtually and I am behind in a couple of my classes and it’s a whole mess :/ I hope everyone has a decent school year though 😊
